Annual VA HFES Student Conference

The 2nd Annual Virginia Human Factors and Ergonomics Society Student Conference was hosted at George Mason University this past weekend.  Students from Old Dominion University and Virginia Tech joined those from George Mason University to promote their own research and colloborate on future work.  Events included a presentation by Dr. Chris Monk highlighting Human Factors in industry, government, and academia based on his own experiences working in all three domains, a poster session, a series of lectures on various area of Human Factors, a seminar on portfolio creation, lab tours, and of course, a happy hour.
