Section Information for Spring 2017
Using a variety of readings, documentary film, discussion, and written assignments the course utilizes critical perspectives on the impacts of globalization on women and men’s lives around the world. We will focus mainly on the role of gender in domestic work, sex work, human trafficking, white/blue-collar work, migrant and sweatshop labor.
