Human Factors and Applied Cognition
Ari Mandell is a third year doctoral student working with Dr. Tyler Shaw in the Human Factors and Applied Cognition program. She received her B.A. in Cognitive Science and Psychology from the University of Virginia in Spring 2013. At UVA, she coordinated for the Cognitive Aging Lab. Ari is currently studying vigilance using measures of cerebral hemovelocity, more specifically, using Transcranial Doppler Sonography.
