Workshop: Online Resources for Improving Word Choice and Grammar

In this workshop, the Writing Center ESL Specialist will share links to helpful online resources and show how they can be used to improve word choice and grammar in academic writing. This workshop will be interactive, allowing participants to practice using the online tools and their various functions right away. For this reason, participants are asked to bring their electronic devices to the workshop.

CHSS Spring Symposium: Knowing Climate Change

College of Humanities and Social Sciences

This symposium, sponsored by the Intellectual Life Committee in the College of Humanities and Social Science, will bring together three scholars, each from a different discipline, to discuss the relationship between large-scale environmental challenges and the problems of political knowledge, cultural representation, and individual and collective subjectivities. Sam Lebovic, from the Department of History and Art History, will moderate.
