Donnell E. Johns Jr. was born in Aurora, CO to Donnell E. Johns Sr. And Tanda L. Johns. Johns Jr. Donnell grew up in Aurora and moved to Woodbridge, VA at the age of 12 where he attended Potomac Middle School and Potomac Senior High School. Donnell was very active in school extracurriculars throughout his entire academic career. Once he graduated, Donnell attended Hampton University for undergrad. At Hampton he was a staple member of the Greer Dawson Wilson Student Leadership Training Program where he gained vast leadership experience in various areas. Donnell is very diverse in his interests. He shadowed Dr. Sabahat Nawab and Dr. Habib Chotani at their Primary Care Physician Practice obtaining clinical experience. He participated in a summer internship with the Consortium for Health and Military Performance at Uniform Services University. During this internship he developed a literature review along side Dr. Craig Myatt titled “How Multidisciplinary Teams Enhance Preventive Measures and Treatment Outcomes in Women Serving in the Military”. Donnell is also the owner and CEO of 3rd Conscience, LLC. 3rd Conscience is a spiritual streetwear brand designed to give meaning to the clothing we wear and remind the public that the mind is your most powerful tool.

Education

Donnell is a graduate of the illustrious Hampton University. Donnell graduated with honors and achieved his Bachelor of Science degree in biology. During his tenure at Hampton, Donnell was very involved in campus life as well as academic clubs such as the Greer Dawson Wilson Student Leadership Training Program, Campus Curlz, Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students, Biology Club, Beautiful Black People, and the Maximizing Access to Research Careers (MARC) Program.
