I loved college so much, I never left. I've worked in higher education serving the student population since I graduated with my Bachelor's degree. I heard someone say once that "college should be hard, but not unkind" and that has always stuck with me. My work history involves working with academic policy, athletic academic compliance and graduation auditing within the Registrar world and undergraduate academic advising for Biology/Pre-Health students. I am excited to be in a role that combines my two work passions: academic policy and helping students.
On a personal level, I was born and raised in North Dakota, but I have lived in Georgia, Southern California, Illinois and now Virginia, where I am happy to be for the long haul. I love sports and music and I plan to be at several George Mason athletic and fine arts events once the world opens back up. My volunteer history includes master gardening education, fostering with a canine rescue and neighborhood/community enhancement projects.
